About Indian Cuisine

Our kitchen began with family recipes made with time, not haste.

Onions slowly caramelized until they become sweet. Spices we roast and grind ourselves, fresh every morning. Dough hand-rolled every evening and placed against the walls of the blazing-hot tandoor.

It takes time, and you can taste that time in every bite. That’s why we’ve intentionally stayed smaller in Bussum: fewer tables, more attention to every plate.

Amsterdam → Bussum
Binnen Bantammerstraat, Amsterdam Herenstraat 1, Bussum

The same kitchen, the same family, a new home in Het Gooi.

For 5 years we cooked on the Binnen Bantammerstraat in Amsterdam. In 2026 we moved the whole kitchen to the Herenstraat in Bussum. The same cooks, the same tandoor, the same recipes and the same spice blends. Only a quieter room and more space at the table. Guests who followed us from Amsterdam recognise the menu and the faces behind the pass. Amsterdam gave us so many years and thousands of guests. Het Gooi gives us the room to cook the way we always wanted to.

How we cook

Why It Tastes Like Home

Charcoal, Not Gas

Our tandoor is fired with real charcoal. It creates the smoky flavor and tender charred crust that you simply can't replicate in an oven.

Freshly Ground Every Morning

We roast and grind our spices fresh every day. We do not use jarred pastes, as the foundation of every sauce is prepared right here in our kitchen.

Just as Good Without Meat

From palak paneer to dal makhani, our vegetarian dishes receive the same care as everything else. Vegan and gluten-free options are available on request.

A Family, Not a Chain

Our restaurant in Bussum is smaller and more personal. You are served by the same people who prepare your food.
